Restaurants

L'Ametlla de Mar

Here is our eclectic list of our favourite local restaurants from the nearby villages:

In I’Ametlla if you are looking to eat incredibly fresh tuna plucked from the bay, you must experience the El Moli dels Avis restaurant which serves you a dedicated tuna menu

On the way to L’Ampolla - Stop at Restaurant Perales which has indoor and out door seating looking out to sea, with access to a small rocky beach.  Very relaxed and great paella: Restaurant Perales, Av. Perales, 27, 43895 Partida del Cap Roig, l’ampulla
One of our local L’ampulla favourites, Can Pinana is an unpretentious restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating on the port front.  Plentiful food and surrounded by long standing local clients and always a small bill!  Can Pinana, Maritima Ramon Pous, 7, 43895 L'Ampolla, Spain
Off the beaten track between El Perelló and Rasquera:  Mas den Curto always get annual visit from us when we are looking an incredibly relaxed home cooked meal with friends with time to spare
Carpe Diem:  For a celebration,  again off the beaten track located between El Perelló and Rasquera that leads you to this fun restaurant, good food and a home grown zoo which always fascinates kids and adults alike:   http://www.carpediemperello.eu/?lang=en

Barcelona

Most people travelling to L'Ametlla will probably stop in Barcelona, especially if you are arriving by plane. Here is a good list of up and coming restaurants we recommend:  http://www.lucasfoxstyle.com/barcelona-exclusive-restaurants/

Cambril's
Cambril’s is a fun sea port village to visit that is very much focused on catering tourists, but it manages the balance well in that it has invested in that it has a beautiful broad walk along the beach and port, great local restaurants and some fun shops.  It offers a different pace to L’Amettla and offers a  fun day out with a great meal.
