Olives

 

The olive trees were not cared for and harvested for a number of years. Once we acquired the finca, we set about pruning the trees and were rewarded with our first harvest of 99 liters of cold pressed olive oil in November of 2014. We work closely with Joan and his team at Molí d´Oli Casa Rafeló in El Perelló (be sure to vist them on Saturday mornings). We will continue to redevelop the capacity of the trees over the coming years.

 

Wine

 

In March of 2015 we planted 200 Granache and 100 Syrah grape vines in a plot of land that had long ago been used for grapes. Using bio fertilizer and water from our well, the vines grew at a stunning rate in the first year. We hope to be able to bottle our first wine in another year or two. Look out for the Mas de Xapoli label coming soon!
